Mladá Boleslav – Teplice 1:2 (0:0)

Commentary on the match

The Teplice team went to Mladá Boleslav in the 28th round of FORTUNA:LIGA. Coach Zdenko Frťala changed the lineup compared to previous matches. He sent Richard Ludha to the goal, Roman Čerepkai to the point for a change, the line-up also changed when the yellow and blue started with four defenders.

Entering the game, they had a better temperature and did not let the opponent into their half. After a quarter of an hour, the game leveled out, but Teplice remained the slightly more dangerous team. However, they were unable to turn their signs of chances into a more significant goal. Paradoxically, Michal Bílek presented the greatest threat to the goal from half of the field. He tried to catch the running Mikulce, but he was able to back up and kick the ball into the corner.

After the change of sides, Mladá Boleslav was the first to threaten, but Richard Ludha solved the dangerous situation when he was at the near post in time and kicked the ball into the corner. On the other side, Daniel Fila also made a save, but his shot from an angle went just wide. In the 61st minute, it seemed for a long time that a penalty kick would be taken for Teplice, when Fulnek played with his hand in the goal, but the VAR finally revealed a previous handling of hands by Matěj Radosta.

The large group of Teplice fans was cheered up only in the 69th minute by Daniel Trubač, who beautifully cleared the back pass of substitute Švanda into the goal. Josef Švanda was also at the second goal opportunity ten minutes later, he couldn’t hit the bouncing ball in a good position in the goal area, he only passed it to Filo, who showed his shooting instinct and increased the lead. However, the home team managed to reduce the score two minutes before the end, when Marek Suchý made a precise shot against the post and dramatized the end of the match. At the very end, Ludha still had to pull off a great save, but Teplice took home three points.
