Mladá Boleslav footballers scored a valuable victory in the rematch of the qualification for the Conference League against the Hungarian team Paksi FC. The Central Bohemians won on the opponent’s ground with a clear result of 0:3. All three goals were scored in the second half, thanks to Jawa, Králik and Pulkraba.
The first half of the match was characterized by balanced play. The players of the FK Mladá Boleslav team tried their best, but the Paksi defense stood firm and did not let Boleslav into bigger opportunities. On the other hand, the Hungarian team also created several interesting situations, but Boleslav’s defense solved them.
But the decisive moments came after the break. Mladá Boleslav significantly increased the tempo of the game and began to dominate. The first goal came from the kick of striker Lamin Jawa, who sent the ball behind goalkeeper Simon in the 57th minute.
It didn’t take long for Boleslav to rejoice for the second time. In the 68th minute, defender Martin Králik found his way best and made it 2:0 with a precise header. Matěj Pulkrab adjusted the final 3:0 score at the end of the match.
Pilsen is also happy
Viktoria Plzeň also did well at the Hearts stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland. A draw would have been enough for them to advance to the league part of the Europa League. However, Pilsen did not have to worry about the result. Lukáš Červ scored in the 76th minute and the West Bohemians kept the 0:1 win.
