“Mixer: A Retrospective Journey Through the History and Entertainment of Giovanni Minoli’s News Magazine”

A new tribute to Gianni Minà, the “Face to face” with Catherine Deneuve and the meeting with the protagonists of the attack in via Rasella, in Rome: a chronicle of history and entertainment are at the center of “Mixer. Twenty years of television” – broadcast on Thursday 6 April in the late evening on Rai 3 and Wednesday 12 April in prime time on Rai Storia – to continue the retrospective journey of Giovanni Minoli in the history of his news magazine.
It starts with the attack in via Rasella on 23 March 1943, a page of history that still continues to cause discussion today: Enzo Cicchino in 1995 listens to the voice of the protagonists of the attack, Carla Capponi, Rosario Bentivegna and Giorgio Amendola, and collects the testimony of a survivor of the massacre, Arthur Atz, of the Bozen Company.
We continue with the tribute to the late Gianni Minà, who with “Blitz” changed the Italian Sunday afternoon: from this historic format, a special extract from 1983 together with Federico Fellini, Massimo Troisi and Roberto Benigni.
Also back is an extended version of Giovanni Minoli’s 1988 Face to Face with the most beautiful woman in the world, Catherine Deneuve.
