Golf professional Matthias Schwab started the Euro Tour tournament in Nairobi, Kenya, with a mixed par round. With 71 strokes, the Styrian was only in the shared 79th position on Thursday.
He prevented a worse placement in the finish, where he got three of his five birdies on the last three holes. “I’m still a little prone to making mistakes, but the game isn’t that bad,” said Schwab. The leading Frenchman Benjamin Hebert needed seven strokes less, behind him there are seven tied players.
