Matchday 20 of the group stage of the Third Division B left mixed results for the teams from the regional capital.
Deportes Rancagua won 3-0 at the Guillermo Saavedra municipal stadium. Manuel Rodríguez’s team beat Deportivo Meza from Padre Las Casas, with goals from Diego Paz, Moisés Inostroza and Zúñiga.
That score left them with 36 points and occupying fifth place in the standings. The next challenge for the oranges will be on Saturday at 5 pm in Talcahuano, visiting Naval at the El Morro stadium.
Rancagua Sur, on the other hand, did not have an easy time against one of the bottom teams, San Bernardo Unido, as the team from the capital beat them 0-4 in a match played at the Patricio Mekis municipal stadium. The red-and-black team has 27 points and will visit the already relegated Deportes Pirque this weekend.
