According to a statement when presiding over the fourth activity report of the director of the Faculty of Accounting and Administration, Marcos Rafael García Pérez, the rector acknowledged that this academic body was the first to offer its four degrees in dual modality, face-to-face and online , expanding the training possibilities for students.

“Information and communication technologies should be supported on the best digital platforms, with capable teachers in the classroom and virtual laboratories to train minds committed to society,” he said.

He also mentioned that the Faculty offers advanced study programs in the economic-administrative area that respond in a pertinent and avant-garde way to the always dynamic demand of the labor market.

Examples of them are, he said, the Doctorate in Administration and Senior Management, the master’s degrees in Government Comptrollership and Organizational Management, as well as the higher diplomas in Tax Contributions, Social Enterprise and Government Comptroller, which are widely recognized at the national level by be part of the National Quality Postgraduate Program (PNPC) of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACyT) and orient their results to address the problems faced by organizations today.

Carlos Eduardo Barrera Díaz highlighted that the figures and achievements that were released during this exercise of transparency and accountability express the result of a community effort that revolves around a will and vocation to lead students towards the future.

Marcos Rafael García Pérez reported that during the last four years the enrollment of the Faculty of Accounting and Administration grew 32 percent and today it has 4,945 students, the largest in this house of studies.

He also recalled that the educational quality offered by this university space is reflected in various achievements of the students in national knowledge competitions such as the marathons organized by the National Association of Faculties and Schools of Accounting and Administration and the College of Public Accountants of Mexico.
