BERITA SUBANG – Xiaomi is starting to launch MIUI 12.5 stable for the device flagship in China recently and is expected to expand to 28 devices soon.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi executives have confirmed that MIUI 12.5 will also be present in predecessor devices such as the Xiaomi Mi 8 series (which consists of Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Xiaomi Mi 8 SE), MIX 2S, and MIX 3.
Therefore, MIUI 12.5 will be the fourth MIUI update for the MIX 2S while MIX 3 will get it as the third major update. Xiaomi is very grateful for supporting the older flagships even though they are past the software support period.

Furthermore, Zhang said that along with MIX devices, the Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition will also get an update MIUI 12.5. These devices are getting their last major MIUI 12 updates in July and August 2020 respectively.
Even so, Zhang hasn’t mentioned the 5G version of the Mi MIX 3 5G which gets a direct update to MIUI 12 in September. We can therefore only hope for these devices. What is uncertain is the release date of the update for the aforementioned devices.

Zhang said that the update will come sometime later after the company has completed the pending project and has ensured the trial version is bug and error free.
