Miu Miupresents the 2024 Upcycle Edition. The 2024 Upcycle Edition, which was first released in 2020 and is already in its fifth edition, is a project that shows Miu Miu’s commitment to practicing sustainability and circular design philosophy. Rather than simply preserving past products, we infuse new value into clothes and provide a special experience to those who wear them.

This upcycled edition of Miu Miu’s holiday collection is comprised of four themes, each with its own unique history. Upcycled leather sourced from all over the world, upcycled kilts made between the 1950s and 1970s, colorful upcycled yarn using materials from the brand’s archive, black The main character is upcycled embroidery, which adds archive embroidery to lace.
Miu Miu’s upcycled leather first unveiled in the 2022 F/W season. Decorations were added to various leather items, including vintage biker jackets. Details were completed using patchwork using iconic materials, flower and flame motifs inspired by the 2011 S/S runway show, and jewel embroidery from the 2024 F/W collection. In addition, the Miu Miu upcycled kilt features a variety of tartan check patterns. A new silhouette was created by adding a black trompe l’oeil effect or embroidering polygonal stones.

Additionally, Miu Miu uses upcycled yarns that are hand-knitted with precision and delicate craftsmanship. The main characters include a crewneck hoodie made of cotton crochet knit with a logo detail, a knit hat matching the holiday mood, and a Wander bag featuring a variety of colors.
Actress Emma Corrin appeared in the campaign for Miu Miu’s 2024 Upcycle Collection, drawing attention. The holiday collection, including this upcycled edition, can be found at Miu Miu stores around the world and on the official website (miumiu.com).
