The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is the leader in the ladder frame SUV class. During the January-June 2022 period, the Pajero Sport beat its closest competitor, the Toyota Fortuner.
In wholesales data (sales from factories to dealers) released by the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), sales of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport were recorded at 12,601 units. The SUV beat the Fortuner which recorded wholesales of 10,360 units.

One of them is the safety feature. Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has four sensors at the front and four sensors at the rear which are tasked with carrying out security features. With these provisions, the Pajero Sport has several advanced features.
First there is the Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS). This system is useful if the driver suddenly panics about to brake suddenly or panic braking instead presses the gas pedal. The system will sound and display a warning when the front or rear sensors detect an object blocking the lane when parking and control the engine power to prevent the car from driving suddenly.
Then there is the Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). This feature is useful when the car exits the parking lot in reverse. The indicator will light up in the MID when RCTA is active. The radar sensor in the rear bumper will display a warning in the MID accompanied by a flashing indicator in both mirrors and a buzzer sound if it detects another vehicle when the reverse gear is active.
There is also a Forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM). This feature prevents the occurrence of a forward collision and minimizes the impact if a collision cannot be avoided. This feature detects other vehicles via radar.
Then Blind Spot Warning (BSW) with Lane Change Assist (LCA). Radar sensors on the rear bumper are able to detect the presence of other vehicles in the rear, right and left blind spots of the car. When another vehicle is detected, a warning indicator accompanied by a buzzer will appear in the rearview mirror.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is equipped with Active Stability and Traction Control (ASTC) features. This feature makes the car control better in various road and weather conditions. To go through various road conditions, the Pajero Sport has a ground clearance of 218 millimeters. This car is also equipped with Electronic Brake Distribution so that the distribution of braking is regulated electronically.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is equipped with a 4N15 2,400 cc MIVEC diesel engine with turbocharged intercooled. Its power reaches 181 PS at 3,500 rpm with a maximum torque of 430 Nm at 2,500 rpm.
