JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Market SUV Bigger is said to be getting smaller and being replaced by the crossover segment. This is one of the reasons why Mitsubishi has stopped production Pajero globally starting last March.
Reporting from Paultan, to commemorate the last edition of the Pajero, Mitsubishi Australia released the Pajero Final Edition which is only available for 800 units.
As a special variant, compared to the standard type, this Pajero edition is distinguished by a number of accessories on the exterior and interior.

Such as colored hood deflectors, carpet underlay, rear cargo liner, to the rear fenders. In addition, the Pajero is still offered in GLX, GLS and Exceed variants.
Speaking of prices, the GLX variant which is equipped with a capacity of seven passengers, limited-slip differential, Apple CarPlay, and a 7-inch touch screen compatible with Android costs 54,990 Australian dollars or the equivalent of Rp. 602 million.
Meanwhile, the GLS variant with 18-inch rims, reverse sensor, electric heated seats, automatic lights and wipers, and Rockford Fosgate audio is priced at 60,490 Australian dollars, equivalent to Rp.663 million.

The Exceed variant, which is equipped with chrome accessories on the exterior, leather seats, sunroof, aluminum pedals, sells for 63,490 Australian dollars or the equivalent of Rp.695 million.
The Pajero also still carries a 3,200 cc 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 189 tk and 441 Nm of torque.
That power is channeled to the Super Select II all-wheeler system, via the INVECS-II 5-speed automatic transmission.
To note, the Pajero is arguably an SUV legend in the world. Before officially ceasing production, the Pajero first appeared in 1982 and has spawned four generations to date.
