Mitsubishi is launching today a “new” model in its range, from the so-called revival era of the brand. And there is probably no car enthusiast who does not immediately recognize a Renault Clio in this model with the Mitsubishi emblem. Just as it did with the ASX, cloned from the Renault Captur, the current launch follows the same scenario, leaving even Mitsubishi fans disappointed.

Of course, there are still models in the world that share the same platform, and even a similar design, but usually a little more work is done on individualization, or they are launched relatively close in time to each other. Here, however, we have a model that has been on the market for about 4 years, to which a Mitsubishi emblem has been affixed and is launched as a new model. Even production will not take place at Mitsubishi, but also at the Renault Bursa factory in Turkey.

So, there is nothing new, in essence, to say about this model, other than the obvious fact that it will also take over all engines, including the hybrid one. There will also be a 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine, at the same time the Renault and Dacia range.

Now Mitsubishi has a new model in the range that it will only see on paper in the delivery figures, as it was created by Renault, will be produced by Renault and will go to dealers directly from the Renault factory. And Mitsubishi hopes to quantify some sales figures and probably a few hundred euros profit on each car. That’s pretty much what Mitsubishi has come down to these days.
