Mitsubishi has recently been talked about mainly in connection with its plans for the European market, from which it is partially withdrawing. Somewhat symbolically, now the British representation of the brand comes with the news that it is selling out its collection of cars.

A total of 14 British Mitsubishi cars will be offered in the form auctionswhich will start on April 1. So we just hope it’s not April …
Among the cars we find, for example, the Colt Lancer from 1974 with a 1.4-liter engine, the very first Mitsubishi registered in the United Kingdom. It has 73,703 miles on the tachometer, ie 118,613 km. There is also the Colt Galant, again from 1974, in the top version of the 2000 GL with a two-liter engine with an output of 86 kW.
If you are interested in something even more classic, then you might like a replica of the Model A from 1917, the first ever mass-produced car in Japan. Unfortunately, none of the 30 original cars have survived to the present day, which is why Mitsubishi built a copy according to the original plans. Under the hood, however, hides a single-cylinder engine from a lawn mower.

But there are also sports pieces, such as the Starion from 1988, which is supposed to be in a unique condition, even though it has “already” 59,050 miles (95,032 km) behind it. You shouldn’t be surprised that the collection also includes the 3000GT – this is from 1992 and has traveled only 34,147 miles (54,954 km) so far.
And of course you can buy several Evo Lancers. Evo VI Tommi Makinen Edition from 2001, Evo IX MR FQ-360 HKS from 2008 and Evo X FQ-440 MR from 2015 are available. Rally special Lancer Evolution IX Group N Works should also be of interest. In 2007 and 2008 he won the British Rally Championship.
Speaking of rallies, Mitsubishi also offers the Galant 2.0 GTI from 1989, modified into a replica of a rally car.
Of course, off-road vehicles and SUVs cannot be missing. The most interesting is probably the Mitsubishi Jeep CJ-3B, an offroad manufactured long after World War II under license from Willys.
Two Shoguns, one from 1987, the other from 2000, and a plug-in hybrid Outlander from 2015 are also heading for the auction. Finally, we are left with the L200 Desert Warrior from 2017, a car that was to demonstrate the off-road capabilities of this pickup.
