Criticism is pouring not only against Professor Ramsey now, but also at Harvard Law School and its journals. Korean Americans, targeting Mitsubishi, a Japanese war criminal company that sponsored Ramsay, entered the boycott.

An article was posted on the global petition site, saying, “Let’s boycott Mitsubishi.”
It means refusing to purchase all Mitsubishi products, including cars, TVs, and electronic parts.

In the American academic world, voices came out calling for a boycott of Korean society.
Frances Boyle, a professor of law at the University of Illinois at the University of Illinois, told JTBC reporters, “I propose that Korean universities publicly boycott Harvard Law School and its faculty in support of the victims of comfort women.”
Professor Boyle, from Harvard University, served as president of the Harvard Law School fundraising campaign.
“I felt obligated to speak up for the comfort women victims against Harvard Law School,” he added.
Criticistic statements from renowned scholars also followed.
“The legitimacy of the historical interpretation should be judged by evidence,” said Professors Alvin Ross and Paul Millgrum of Stanford University, who received the Nobel Prize in Economics for the game theory used by Professor Ramsey. “You cannot turn it over into a simple game.”
Rather, the two professors said, “I had to come up with the claim to deny the massacre of the Jews.”
Roger Nole, an emeritus professor at Stanford University, said, “I regret that Ramsay published his thesis in the journal where he publishes his thesis.”
