Mitsotakis: The books he wants to read on vacation – The Kasselakis proposal – 2024-08-14 09:02:58

August is the month when the state and government machinery is down. Ministers usually vacation on the Greek islands, in an attempt to recharge batteries for the demanding winter.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis will take a breather from the difficult autumn between Chania and Tinos. And there is one goal, which he is not very sure if he will achieve: if he will have time to read the books he wants.

In his post on Instagram, the prime minister posts a photo with six books by Greek and foreign authors. “Let’s see what I can do!!” he writes in the caption.

These books are:

  1. The duck knows where the lake is – H. Chomenidis
  2. The Center must hold – Yair Zivan
  3. The anxious generation – Jonathan Haidt
  4. The scale game – Maria Todorova
  5. The coming wave – Mustafa Suleyman
  6. Justinian – Peter Sarris

The Kasselakis proposal

On the occasion of his post, Stefanos Kasselakis recommends that the prime minister start by reading the book “The new digital surveillance”, a proposal with a clear allusion to the wiretapping case.

“It is very positive that the Prime Minister is highlighting the value of a book in our holiday leisure. Next to the books he showed that he took with him on his vacation, I recommend one more. Since one should be updated about the developments in his field of interest, I would suggest him to start there. Good reading and practice.”
