Kyriakos Mitsotakis initially referred to the deadly fire in Xylokastro, asserting that “the state apparatus is fully mobilized”, expressing the hope that this pending situation will end soon, as he described it.

“The benefits of this great institutional intersection will unfold on multiple levels, dealing with the scourge of encroachments,” he said, adding that “based on the distinct identity of each region, everyone will be able to know where and how they can build.”

He also pointed out that “the large urban planning and spatial planning program “Konstantinos Doxiadis” will also be based on the cadastral register, with the said reform being implemented with basic tools “the use of technology” and “social sensitivity” due to “the trust we show in citizens to participate themselves in the formation of the land register”.

Mr. Mitsotakis congratulated the leadership of the ministry for the use of artificial intelligence, as “it is the first tangible example of how artificial intelligence can vertically improve public administration.”

He also explained that this project will be implemented by the end of 2025, while clarifying that land registration is at 52%. “We will do what we said” he underlined and addressing Zoi Konstantopoulou he emphasized: “Do what you have to, by voting for this bill and promoting the interest of society”.
