Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said at the closing of the 14th congress of the ruling New Democracy party that “in fact, Greece is stronger than ever at all levels. Greece’s views matter in Europe, we play a key role in a number of important developments.” .
“These last three days were an opportunity to meet and this meeting was a great surge of joy and optimism for me,” he said, noting that “we are a party in constant motion,” he said.
Mitsotakis said “developments require Greece to be an international hub and energy producer”, adding that “the country will develop this important strategic geopolitical advantage”.
The prime minister stressed that “there is no united society without a country that is ready at any moment to defend its national independence” and added that Greece has become stronger by targeting international relations and co-operation.
