Mirza Whibowo Soenarto as President Director of PT Mitra Kiara Indonesia said that his party is ready to move forward through synergies in creating the best and reliable cement-derived building materials.
“We continue to innovate in each mortar product to answer the challenges of an increasingly dynamic market, especially considering that the presence of mortar as a material is currently considered more efficient and economical,” Mirza said in his official statement, Friday (11/5).
The development of building materials in the country itself comes one after another along with rapidly increasing technological advances.
The growth of reforms in the building materials industry in the last decade has proven to be successful in bringing efficiency to the construction process of construction projects, both large and small scale constructions. Including mortar, a building material that is now a leading in the construction sector.
Mortar distribution Indonesia is supported by an extensive GIS network so that its availability has spread throughout the islands of Java, Makassar, Lampung, Medan, and also NTT.
Mirza added, the company is committed to continuing to produce reliable and reputable mortar products, which are also supported by Research and Development (RnD) as well as factory equipment with advanced technology.
MKI strives to always prioritize the latest innovations to be able to provide solutions. Indonesian mortar produced by MKI is different from other mortars because all of its production from upstream to downstream applies a system Integrated Comprehensive Process directly supported by GIS.

MKI has a factory located in Bogor Regency with a production capacity of 400,000 tons per year. This is the largest mortar factory in Indonesia. However, this factory only produces about 30,000-35,000 tons per year at this time.

The company will increase production to reach maximum capacity in 2023 in line with the recovery of construction and property activities in Indonesia.
The largest market share of MKI’s mortal sales is in West Java reaching 48.1%, then in Jakarta 21.4%, Central Java 10.4%, East Java 10%, and Banten 9.8%. Most of the market is retail consumers.
