Giovanna Civitillo ended up in the storm for the words about her son on Domenica In, a storm that seemed to have subsided. It seemed, yes, because it came back to life today that Amadeus’ wife intervened on social media. “Nobody asked me to leave dance, much less Amadeus who has always supported me! When my son was born I had already stopped dancing. After realizing my dream as a dancer, my priorities simply changed. I chose to dedicate myself to something else, to enjoy the beauty that was happening to me in private. Happy, determined and with no regrets! “
In short, the choice belongs only to her. Evidently having also talked about her son, having said that the little one of the house did not allow her to dance has caused someone to misunderstand. In this message, however, he clarified that the choice to leave the dance was hers alone. Finally, he stressed the freedom to choose: if today a woman chooses a family rather than a career, she should not be condemned. Freedom is valid in every sense: the woman who chooses a career is free but the woman who chooses a family is also free. If the choice belongs solely and exclusively to the woman, it is clear.
This message from Giovanna Civitillo did not help calm the controversy, However. In fact, in the comments she was both supported, also by Rita Dalla Chiesa who invited people not to point the finger, and attacked. Someone wrote that they followed the interview with Domenica In and understood Giovanna’s priorities, however “You shouldn’t be influenced by your children, because if you don’t dance it’s because they don’t want your child”. Giovanna herself, however, admitted that she explained herself badly, but nowadays it seems that it is no longer allowed. Words must always be thought and rethought, weighed and re-weighed.
