According to the Chungbuk Police Agency on the 4th, a recent complaint to the National Newspaper, “The Central Chairman of the Chungbuk Provincial Civil Association sent a text to 480,000 departing people asking for support of Miss A from Chungbuk.” This was received.

It was also argued that a text message from the Domin chairman encouraging votes for Miss A was sent during the first round, which aired on the 25th of last month.

The Chungbuk Police Agency sent the complaint to the Seoul Police Agency, where the Chungbuk Provincial Civil Association’s Central Assembly is located to confirm the facts.

A netizen who is believed to be a civil petitioner recently posted an article in an online community saying, “I am wondering how the Chungbuk Provincial Civil Association collected the information of the people who sent the text message.”
It is still unclear whether the encouragement of text voting at the Chungbuk Provincial Civil Association’s central meeting is a violation of the Personal Information Act.

‘Mistrot’ Season 2 will play the finals this afternoon. The final winner is selected by adding real-time text voting points to the judges’ scores and public support votes.
