Mission Miss Olympia 2025 – Denise is a professional bodybuilder

At a certain point in the diet you notice, not only physically but also mentally, that you are somehow running into deficits.

Denise started bodybuilding three years ago. She soon won her first competitions. She won bronze at the 2023 German Championships. It was a tough fight. “The portions were reduced, the fats were eliminated, and the protein always remained high because it was important for the muscles. So there were times towards the end of the diet when I went to bed hungry every day and that had a huge impact on my mood.”

Fitness training six times a week, 15,000 steps a day! She rejects substances such as anabolic steroids. They are also banned in bodybuilding. Doping controls, she says, can happen at any time and women can also be seen becoming masculinized due to hormones.

I like muscles on women too. I actually like a lot of muscles, but not at any price.

“If I knew, for example, that in order to be able to stand on stage in Las Vegas at some point, I would have to build up ten kilos of muscle. And that is difficult, even as a woman. And then they say that you won’t get there without aids or without this masculinization. But then I would also say: ‘No, okay, then that’s just not what I want to do.'”

This year Denise competed in Spain against 28 professional bodybuilders from all over the world and came in fifth place. The woman from the Palatinate now has the goal of flying to Las Vegas and competing for the title of Miss Olympia 2025 at the Mr. Olympia competition.

I will put all my time and all my energy into it because it is the biggest competition you can take part in. And to be on stage there would be a dream.
