The seventh installment of the action saga starring Tom Cruise will hit theaters in the United States on May 27, 2022.

Paramount Pictures has delayed the releases of some of its most anticipated films. This is the case of titles such as Mission Impossible 7, Top Gun: Maverick Y Jackass 4. The new dates correspond to the United States. In Spain we will have to wait to know what day they will land on the billboard.
Paramount resigns to release titles in cinema, for the moment
Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the ’80s classic starring Tom Cruise Top Gun (Idols of the air), will hit theaters on November 19th. The film was scheduled to premiere on July 2, a week before Black widow. It is not clear if Paramount has made this decision not to compete with a title of Marvel Studios.
As to Mission: Impossible 7, the new installment of the action saga starring Cruise in the role of Ethan Hunt has been delayed to May 27, 2022. Previously, the Christopher McQuarrie-directed title was going to land on the billboard on November 19, a date that now has Top Gun: Maverick. This implies that Mission: Impossible 8 has also undergone a change. The film is now scheduled to hit theaters on July 7, 2023.
Jackass 4, the fourth film about the group led by Johnny Knoxville, has also changed its opening day: October 22. Dungeons and Dragons, the film about the famous role-playing game, has also delayed its arrival in theaters and will now do so ten months later than planned: the March 3, 2023. The only good news is that Snake Eyes, the ‘spin-off’ of G.I. Joe with Úrsula Corberó in the role of The Baroness, will be released ahead of schedule: the July 23, 2021.
Paramount will also release the films on its streaming platform a month after they hit theaters.
Taking advantage of these date changes, THR indicates that Paramount has also announced the releases of other titles. A ‘biopic’ about the Bee Gees will arrive in movie theaters on November 4, 2022 Y The Shrinking of Treehorn the November 10, 2023. On the other hand, a comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski plans to land on the billboard on November 17, 2023.
Paramount Pictures has been selling some of its most anticipated films to streaming platforms since March 2020. This is the case of The King of Zamunda, The Tomorrow War O No regrets. In addition to that, the studio announced that the films it opens in theaters will be available 45 days later of its arrival on the billboard on the streaming platform Paramount+. The latter will happen with titles like Mission impossible 7 Y A quiet place 2.
