Ahmad added that those involved in this cooperation were XL Axiata and infrastructure providers network on the MRT line, namely PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG).
“It should be remembered that this agreement is between XL and our telecommunications business partner, TBIG,” he added.
As an alternative, XL users are encouraged to use the WIFi network that is already available in the MRT Jakarta area, or to use other cellular operator services.
KompasTekno has requested confirmation from XL Axiata regarding this news. However, until this news was broadcast, there was no explanation from the cellular operator with the blue nuances.
Previously in 2019, XL had asked the MRT Jakarta telecommunication network provider to lower the rental price for passive equipment, because it was considered too high.
