Australian police say two bodies have been found during the search for missing Sydney couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.
“We are confident we have found Luke and Jesse,” NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb said.
Beaumont Lamarre-Condon, a police officer who once dated TV host Jesse Baird, was charged last week with allegedly murdering the couple. A projectile and bullet casing belonging to Lamarre-Condon’s weapon was found at Baird.

Police said that after days of refusing to cooperate with the investigation, Lamarre-Condon finally announced the whereabouts of the two bodies on Tuesday morning.
Detectives established a new crime scene in Bungonia at the weekend, where the bodies were eventually discovered on an estate.
Chief Inspector Daniel Doherty said the remains had been found “close to the entrance to the estate” and efforts had been made “to cover the bodies with stones and rubble”.
Police say “two surf bags” were used to transport the deceased couple from the Sydney home where they are believed to have been murdered. Divers had been scouring dams and farmland in the rural area – located two hours south of Sydney – for days after a new crime scene was discovered there at the weekend.
