Matthew McCombe, the 21-year-old Scot who had been missing since March 14, was found dead today in the water at the Molenkade in Duivendrecht.

McCombe disappeared without a trace more than two weeks ago. He was last seen at the Amsteldijk, near the Berlage Bridge. Earlier that morning he was seen on the Europaboulevard.
Several searches in and around those places were unsuccessful. His parents had also come to Amsterdam to search. The police are investigating.
