Missing lobster fisherman found dead in Langesund – NRK Vestfold and Telemark – Local news, TV and radio

A major rescue operation was launched on Thursday evening after a lobster fisherman in Langesund.

The man in his sixties was reported missing by family members who were unable to contact him.

At 11.30 pm the police reported that a dead man and a boat had been found in the area. The man’s relatives have been notified.

– He must have gone to the Langesund marina, left his car and went out to sea on his boat Thursday morning at 10-11am, Southeast Police District Operations Manager Erik Ullhaug told NRK Olsen, during the rescue operation was underway.
