Since Monday, Karlijn has been searched for in Renkum, Bennekom, Oosterbeek and Tuesday evening on the Ginkel heath near Ede. But those searches, with the help of volunteers and the fire brigade, have so far been fruitless. A police helicopter was also deployed over the nature reserves. On Wednesday afternoon, a drone will also be searched.
Karlijn ran away from home on Monday afternoon, according to the police. The skinny girl is wearing black sports shorts and a beige hoodie and is probably carrying a white blanket.
A video car with an infrared camera drove around in the woods between Heveadorp and Oosterbeek. Dogs and horses were searched in the floodplains of the Lower Rhine between Heveadorp and Oosterbeek and a Missing Child Alert was distributed in consultation with the family. An appeal has also been posted on social media.
