Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – There are many unique behaviors carried out by the richest people in the world, which sometimes make your head shake. This time the Tesla boss, Elon Reeve Musk FRS, stirred up the public with the change in his status at the company.
Musk’s name at Tesla is now no longer chief executive but ‘Technoking of Tesla’. This was revealed from filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Starting March 15, 2021, there will no longer be the name of the CEO of Tesla in the correspondence with the US stock exchange authority, the Technoking of Tesla.
The new department name was also given to Zach Kirkhorn from chief financial officer to ‘Master of Coin’.
“Effective March 15, 2021, the titles of Elon Musk and Zach Kirkhorn have been changed to Technoking of Tesla and Master of Coin,” Tesla wrote in a letter to the SEC, quoted by CNBC International.
However, it is unclear why Musk changed the name of the company’s top brass. Even though the name changed, the authority and responsibility remained the same. Musk is still the number one person at the electric car manufacturer.
Previously, Musk also made a scene by buying US $ 1.5 billion or the equivalent of Rp.21 trillion in bitcoin cryptocurrency. The reason is that diversification of investment maximizes the company’s cash return.
