The cat disappeared on the daughter’s birthday
Probably no one believed in this merger anymore: in 2015, the cat of the Cilley family disappeared – of all things on the daughter’s 10th birthday. Now, seven years later, Ashes, that’s the name of the kitty, is reappearing. And this is in Florida, about 2400 km away from the place of residence of the Cilleys. The cat disappeared in 2015
When the shelter in Florida called and left her a message, Denise Cilley still thought they were probably wrong. It is said that her cat was found again – but she did not miss any. At least not currently! Cat Ashes disappeared in August 2015, while the family was celebrating the daughter’s birthday. After searching for the animal for a long time, they eventually gave up. They thought that the cat was probably already dead.
When the shelter reports, Cilley can hardly believe it. The microchip of the found animal clearly identifies you as your cat. In addition, the description fits Ashes, her long-missing kitty. “Microchips make miracles come true. It’s safe, does not hurt the cat, there is no GPS, so it does not track either you or your cat, but it makes merges possible, ” says Cilley.
On Wednesday, a friend of the shelter in Florida flies to Portland, Maine. She takes the kitten home with her. So Ashes and her mistress Denise can finally be together again after this long time. (fst)
