Missing 22-Year-Old’s Phone Found in Lillehammer as Police Investigate Cabin Burglaries

The 22-year-old has been missing since 19 March. A large number of volunteers took part in the search, which ended without any findings. The police ended the search operation after a large search in the area around Balbergkampen in Lillehammer. There, large forces have formed a wide circle around the missing person’s car, which was found parked at Balberg. She also informs that they are investigating a burglary in a cabin in Gausdal with interest in view of this missing person case.

– We have concretely followed up a theft from a cabin in Gausdal, where it turned out to have taken things that were not of particular value. It may look as if a person has entered to bring items to survive outside.

They do not know if the missing person has any connection with the burglary.

– Investigating considering that he is alive

Ouren says that they don’t know where the missing person is, but are investigating considering that he is alive. The missing person’s parents have been informed about the finding of the phone and the break-in, confirms Ouren.

– We have no idea where he might be. We will investigate the location where the phone was found more closely when it becomes practical in view of the snow and ice.

The areas they investigate further are not limited to Gausdal.
