GOTHENBURG. She completely lost her temper, screamed “whore” and cut herself in the ear.
Now Miss Snusk tells us what happened.
– I couldn’t hold out a note, and then I got very angry.
Miss Snusk threw a tantrum on Thursday night after everything went wrong during her rehearsal.
Among other things, she shouted “whore” into the microphone during the performance, hit herself in the face and also hit the dala horse she was riding.
Now, a couple of hours after the incident, the epadunk artist answers why she reacted so strongly.
– I have collected myself. But it has been a bit difficult. I put a lot of pressure on myself. So that’s what happened. I was sad and disappointed in myself. When I didn’t get what I wanted.

What went wrong when you screamed “whore”?
– I was disappointed because I thought it didn’t sound good. I felt I didn’t get enough air to be able to sing the score, where I can excel. I couldn’t hold out a note, and then I got very angry.

“Disappointed”
You had a very strong reaction. How are you going to manage so that this doesn’t happen again?
– We get to practice a lot more. It’s a lot more rope. So I hope it will get better. This was the first time we drove with vocals at the same time. So I put way too much pressure on myself. Because this was the first time. I can’t expect much from myself. But I did.
What went through your head after you screamed “whore”?
– That I am very sad and disappointed in myself. That was the only thing circulating in my head. I didn’t understand what I was doing there.

SVT’s answer
Melodifestivalen’s project manager Anders Wistbacka calls the behavior inappropriate.
“It was inappropriate. It is our policy to always use respectful and friendly language as it is a workplace. But understand that frustration can arise. The artists have very high demands on themselves and react emotionally when things don’t work out as they had planned. We always support as much as we can so that they feel safe,” he writes in a text message.
Miss Snusk competes in the second part of the competition in Gothenburg on February 10, 20.00 on SVT and on SVT Play.
