The Indian candidate Harnaaz Sandhu has been crowned Miss Universe 2021. The Belgian Kedist Deltour did not make the final.

Harnaaz Sandhu, 21, received the prestigious crown from Miss Universe 2020, Mexican Andrea Mea. The Indian was joined on stage by Miss Paraguay Nadia Ferreira and Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane.
The 70th edition of the international beauty pageant took place in Eilat, Israel, on the night from Sunday to Monday.
The Miss Belgium National Committee previously dreamed of a place in the top-5, but Kedist Deltour was unable to secure a spot among the sixteen finalists. Dominique Van Eeckhout’s fourth place in 1981 remains the best Belgian performance ever.
