Miss Europe 2024: Ukrainian Representative Harassed by Russians, Claims Rigged Victory for Russian and Belarusian Contestants

The representative of Ukraine at the Miss Europe 2024 contest said that she was harassed by the Russians.

Milena Melnichuk published in Instagram an appeal in which she spoke about threatening calls from citizens of the Russian Federation who called her a Nazi and fascist. According to the girl, they threatened her with missile strikes on her city.

“During the competition, I was forced to take pictures with a Russian woman. When I aggressively refused, they threatened me and said that I was stupid and didn’t understand anything. The Russian woman always tried to sit next to her and take a photo,” she writes.

Melnichuk also says that the competition designer specifically gave them identical dresses so that they “were like friends.” “The choreographer of the competition put me next to the Russian woman on stage, when I asked to be moved, he said in Russian: “I don’t give a f*ck about the war in Ukraine.” During the very final, this choreographer shouted “f*ck” to me on stage. – she said.

The girl also published a video from the bus, in which a participant from Belarus shouts at her, wishes her brother death, and calls Ukraine an aggressive country. “Are you at war? Why are you shaking your tits at a beauty contest then? Why the hell did you come to a beauty contest?” – she shouts.

What is known about the competition:

The Miss Europe 2024 competition was held from February 15 to 25 in Beirut, Lebanon. The first place was taken by the Russian from Kazan Roza Gadieva, the third – by the Belarusian Irina Maksimovich.

Melnichuk assures that the Russian Ministry of Culture paid 20 thousand euros for the victory of the Russian woman, and the Belarusian woman paid 5 thousand euros.
