Miss Charlotte (31) was chosen from 967 entries to save education: “I am the voice of special needs education” | Tielt

We were once among the world’s top in the field of education, but in recent years Flanders has slowly fallen into the international PISA results. To do something about this, Flemish education minister Ben Weyts (N-VA) set up a new working group with seven academics and seven experts by experience. Miss Charlotte Luyssen is the youngest expert by experience and also the only West Flemish who is allowed to think about the future of our education. She may represent special education, as a teacher at the blo school De Vlinder in Tielt. We went to take a look at her class.
