Viewers are calling the 2021 Miss America pageant a literal “trash fire” in terms of how it was produced.
People are taking to social media left and right to blow up the latest iteration of the beauty pageant, blaming everything from lighting and transitions to poor mics and music.
“A live preview of the quality of the production of the Miss America pageant”, wrote a user on Twitter before adding a gif of a burning dumpster floating on a flooded road.
Others, in one way or another, have had even harsher criticisms for the series.
“What’s going on with the sound, the transitions, the two old queens, etc?” It flows so badly ”, someone else tweeted.
In response to their tweet, someone commented, “Put a fork in there. It’s finish. It’s embarrassing, “while another commenter said” The hosts seem to have learned to read. Or they are too bored to care. ”
Many wondered why the contest was not broadcast on network television, but rather via a streaming service.
