Misleading Pricing Practices at Plovdiv Lidl Store

Again bad practice at a Lidl store. So a reader of Plovdiv24.bg summarizes what he witnessed at the site on “Macedonia” Blvd. in Plovdiv. That’s why:

“Good afternoon, my name is Ivaylo Ivanov. I want to file a complaint through your website. On the morning of May 17, while shopping at the store in question, I found that there was a difference in the prices of the packaging and the receipt.

The manager’s justification was that this was a suggested retail price. And after packaging, the price was different and I had checked to find out what the real price was.

I’m interested, if I shop for BGN 200, do I have to check my products again? I’m curious why there isn’t an actual price on the packaging itself. This to me is misleading and thus the customers are being lied to. I’m not for two leva. A report has been submitted to the KZP”.
