Mishustin was informed about problems with salmon fishing in Kamchatka | In Russia | Politics

Acting Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov, during a working meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, reported on the problems with salmon fishing in 2020, reports TASS.

The head of the region noted that he intends to contact the Federal Agency for Fishery with proposals to clarify scientific forecasts for fish.

According to him, this year’s salmon fishing season did not reach the forecast value, in particular on the eastern coast of Kamchatka.

“We are now analyzing, because only a quarter of the assessments of science was the catch,” noted Solodov.

The Acting Governor also stressed that a more accurate assessment of the fish’s approach would allow for the correct design of the efforts of local businesses.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister, Solodov also reported that the measures taken to preserve the efficiency of the region’s backbone industries did not allow the economy to sink, and this is the main result. For the branches of industry and agriculture, in turn, growth is recorded in the region.

The day before Mikhail Mishustin spoke for the availability of electricity prices for residents of the Far Eastern Federal District.
