At the turn of October and November, Michaloviec hockey players went through a difficult journey. They lost five games in a row, and the coach at the time, Peter Kúdelka, received an ultimatum.
The players were troubled by illness. Some ended up in the hospital or had high fevers. Those who joined played with self-denial. After the matches, they were shaking and their legs were broken. The team got out of trouble and then won 12 games in a row.
How did the club from the east of Slovakia cope with this situation and what helped it to stand up again? Former Michaloviec coach Peter Kúdelka revealed in the latest part of the show Goals from the buffet on ŠPORT.sk.
