Mischa Zverev challenges the health prevention system put in place by ATP

German Mischa Zverev, Alexander’s older brother, was born in Moscow in 1987. In his career he was in the top 25 in the world in 2017, when he reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open and the round of 16 of the US Open.

Mischa reached two other finals on the ATP circuit in addition to the one he won at Eastbourne: in Metz in 2010 and in Geneva in 2017, beaten respectively by Gilles Simon and Stan Wawrinka.

In his career he has only played once on the Major Tour against his brother Alexander: this happened three years ago in Washington, where he was beaten 6-3. 7-5.

Sascha, as Alexander is nicknamed, recently passed Roger Federer in 6th place in the ATP rankings. The German player immediately lost in Miami, stopped by Emil Ruusuvuori.
