This Saturday morning around 10 am, four cars traveling on the RD952 from Aumetz to the roundabout with the D16, collided at the level of the Aumetz cemetery. Five people were involved in the accident including three injured. This accident caused a second upstream pile-up involving three vehicles and again five people, two of whom were injured. Three women, aged 19, 38 and 46 and two children aged 3 and 5 were taken care of by the emergency services and transported to the hospitals of Thionville and Esch-sur-Alzette for checks. They suffer, a priori, only minor injuries.
Nineteen firefighters from the Audun-le-Tiche, Thionville, Audun-le-Roman and Hayange rescue centers intervened under the orders of Lieutenant Djebar.

Traffic was interrupted for several hours between the Aumetz exit and the roundabout with the D16.
