It is 3:02 am this Saturday, September 19 when the alert is given. For some reason, a vehicle, with three young men on board, struck a tree near the Etoile roundabout between Marspich and Hayange. It was friends who sounded the alarm. The young people were returning from an evening in Thionville.
The Thionville and Hayange firefighters, dispatched to the scene, were unable to do anything to revive one of the three occupants, a passenger in the back of the car, namely a 20-year-old, domiciled in Marspich, killed instantly . Another, 19 years old, passenger in the front, was transported to Bel-Air hospital in Thionville. As for the driver of the car, he was taken into custody.
The police were also present to carry out the usual surveys and analyzes, namely alcohol and narcotics. An autopsy will be performed on the body of the deceased. An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
