The operation did not go as planned. In Saint-Priest, in the Lyon metropolis, two criminals tried this Friday morning to rob a tobacconist. But they were controlled by the manager of the business and his brother, helped by passers-by, report our colleagues from the Progress.
The two robbers, a man in his thirties and a woman in her forties, burst into the tobacco shop around 6:45 a.m. and threatened the seller with a handgun. A shot was fired but it was a dummy cartridge.

The two offenders then tried to flee in their vehicle but were caught by the manager and his seller brother. The latter, with the help of passers-by, subdued the suspects, who were handed over to the police.
The duo of criminals was taken into custody, and the investigation was entrusted to the police of the departmental security.
