Parents and their son, aged 89, 88 and 61 respectively, were found dead on Sunday, their bodies bearing bullet holes, at the parents’ home in Meudon (Hauts-de-Seine).
The discovery of the three bodies was made in the early afternoon Sunday by another son of the family, in this city of nearly 45,000 inhabitants located southwest of Paris.
The privileged track “a family affair”
The Nanterre prosecutor’s office stressed that an autopsy should allow “to determine the time and date of the deaths”.
The investigators are considering in particular the hypothesis of a “family affair”, with the son who kills his parents, before committing suicide.
The investigation was entrusted to the Hauts-de-Seine judicial police.
