A generalized test looking for cases of coronavirus was carried out by the Nancy University Hospital at the Accommodation facility for dependent elderly people (Ehpad) Jean-François Fidry in Labry, this Monday, October 5. An operation made necessary after four professionals in the structure tested positive for the coronavirus. According to the Regional Health Agency (ARS), “the Support Center for the Prevention of Infections Associated with Care (CPIAS) is aware of the situation and is ready to provide assistance to management”. A new test next week
This Wednesday, October 7, the results were communicated to Stéphanie Remiatte, the director of the nursing home in Labry. It shows that four residents (out of 53 tested in total) are positive. The families concerned were notified immediately. “Two new agents have tested positive and are no longer present in the establishment,” adds the manager. A new generalized test will be carried out on October 13, in accordance with the recommendations of the ARS.
