It was in the nursing home in this city that the actor had lived in recent years, and it was there that he died on 12 May. But the immediate family has been silent about this fact until now, the sad news has been heard for a quarter of a year. In Pelíšky, Kamana was most famous for the scene where he told schoolchildren as an esenbák that he had been ordered to destroy a divers on a motorcycle: “The order was clear: Stop the man with the leather bag. It must not pass at any cost. There was no time to find out who is who! ” After the success of the Pelíks, the miner went from roll to roll in his original profession. He starred in the films Victims and Murderers or Upside Down. He most recently appeared as a porter of the city office in the sequel to the film Bony and Calm in 2014.

He had tuberculosis
Before becoming a movie star after the age of 50, he worked, for example, as a dairy tanker. “However, he contracted tuberculosis here and went to the lung hospital on Buchtův kopec. After several months of successful treatment, he returned home and worked as an educator at the Institute of Social Care for Adults in Těchobuz, “writes the Vysočina Hospital website in the Patients’ Stories section. “Some were very out. One had to assume that inmates would sometimes skip and start freaking out, “Kaman recalled some time ago as an educator.
He was left alone
Although it was an adult-only institution, he met his wife, who was employed there as an educator. In 1968 their son was born and in 1971 they moved to Humpolec, where he began working as a porter. A year later they divorced and he went to Běchovice near Prague. He never married again and lived alone in a nursing home.

Zavalen v dole
Under the surface of the earth, not even a hard time passed. After three years of hard work, he experienced a collapse. “The ceiling came loose, a boulder took me on the back and twisted my spine,” the actor and former miner recalled. “My back hurt and I had to have surgery.” After his recovery, he could not return to the mine, so he worked on the surface as a laborer. But he didn’t like it mainly because of the finances, because compared to the money he received for working underground, his salary was lousy.
How did he get into acting?
When he worked at the Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice in the 1990s, his friends went to earn extra money for the film as extras, so they told him to go with them. After many extras, he also got episodic. He appeared in the series Hospoda i Zdivočelá země and in 1997 he starred in a short story from Bachelors entitled The Last Concert, which he directed Jan Hřebejk (51). There he had the task of sitting in the train compartment and entertaining all the other passengers. They were there with him as well Vlastimil Brodský († 81) or Jiří Sovák († 79). Subsequently, Jan Hřebejk (54) invited him to the casting of the film Pelíšky. He won the audition and thus began his journey to fame.
The esenbák from Pelíšky died: Bone and skin were due to illness and stress!
