Because here, Amnon Abramovich warned several months before October 7.
To Tomi, I thought that some chilling segment would be immediately pulled from the archive in which Abramovich warns of an invasion by thousands of bloodthirsty Palestinians from beyond the fence – and only the government and the IDF did not see or heed the warning, but then a segment lasting several seconds is broadcast in which Abramovich tells about the fact that there were several opportunities eliminate senior Hamas officials – and it was Netanyahu who prevented the operation in order to keep the peace.
There is no doubt that the cultivation of an understanding relationship with Hamas by the political echelon in Israel, which has been led by Binyamin Netanyahu for almost all of the past years, will still star in the investigative committee, but to present it as evidence of a yardstick – and even more so when the immediate context is the article that has just been published about the horrific massacre at Kibbutz Nir Oz ? Oh well.
The Israeli media was also surprised, it too had all the preliminary signs that were not deciphered correctly, it too broadcast – until the very evening of Simchat Torah (as a consequence of the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War) articles in which the bottom line was: “The IDF is prepared for any scenario.”
Even Nir Davori (in an interview on “Intimi” with Rafi Rashef, as part of the revelation of Keshet 12’s infidelity) admitted that he has had no rest since that Sabbath for his contribution to creating the atmosphere according to which our IDF is strong and heroic (as usual in Israel, those who condemn sin are precisely those who in which he was the smallest, while the big culprits sleep quietly at night), then pull out of the archive a quote that is only indirectly related to Amnon Abramovich – and present it as proof of foresight?
