The Pays de Mirepoix Community of Communes (CCPM) is launching a consultation with residents and elected officials in the area to define its policy on the development of photovoltaic energy.
This investigation is the starting point for the co-construction of the future photovoltaic project development plan, the results of which will directly feed its development.
The plan will make it possible to determine potential projects in the years to come, to identify their methods of carrying and setting up according to the sites and local expectations as well as the conditions for developing future projects, so that they are built with and for the territory, while respecting it. It will also define the path to achieve the mobilization of the potential in the Pays de Mirepoix by 2030.
Next Thursday, November 21, at the Mirepoix municipal cinema, the partners are organizing an evening, open to all, around renewable energies. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the screening of the documentary “Common energies, how to coexist with renewable energies?” by Simon Bouchaudy.
To achieve carbon neutrality in 2050, we will not be able to do without renewable energies, yet, locally, voices are being raised against their implementation. This documentary shows how creative professions can help build “positive commons” with local resources and citizens.
Between field reports and interviews, the film is divided into three parts: acceptance by the territory, citizen appropriation and democratization of know-how.
The CCPM and the partners thank the town hall of Mirepoix for making the municipal cinema available.
