Paris – According to a report in the “Bild” newspaper, Mireille Mathieu (76) wants to say goodbye to the stage with the “Goodbye my Love Goodbye” tour. The French singer told the newspaper she had enough time to make the decision. “When it’s at its most beautiful, it’s time to say goodbye.” As part of the tour, 2024 concerts are planned in numerous German cities. According to information from the Eventim ticket portal, the first German concert is scheduled to take place on October 24, 2024 in Chemnitz, with further dates planned for Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Hanover, Düsseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt and Nuremberg.
According to her website, the little French girl with the distinctive pageboy has sold more than 130 million albums and 55 million singles and has recorded around 1,200 songs in 11 languages, including German, Chinese and Finnish. Her worldwide hits include The Paris Tango, Behind the Scenes of Paris, Adieu at the Acropolis and All of Paris is a Theatre. dpa
