Mirchev will go to the runoff in Sofia, Mikov is convinced –

/ world today news/ According to the leader of the socialists, the comments about Kadiev will end as the election campaign progresses

The leader of the BSP, Mihail Mikov, is convinced that the candidate of the socialists for mayor of the capital, Mihail Mirchev, will make it to the runoff, reports Dnes.bg.

In connection with Georgi Kadiev’s candidacy for mayor of the capital and his subsequent expulsion from the party, Mikov told Nova TV: “Kadiev is finished and I think that’s all there is to it. The comments about this case will die down gradually as the pre-election campaign progresses. It’s clear , that he will nominate himself from another format. May he be alive and well!”.

According to Mikov, “the bitterness of the rank-and-file socialist from this type of behavior is very great” and it is not from yesterday. “Only the desire for a career cannot be a motive for participation in politics. And this undermines trust in the parties. Political nomadism is a fraud to those who cast their vote,” added the BSP leader.

The leader of the socialists emphasized that such processes exist in all parties and gave the example of Zdravko Dimitrov, who was expelled from GERB because of his candidacy for mayor of Plovdiv.

Mikov explained that they had a normal conversation with Kadiev: “I told him that this was a mistake. However, his actions were a project that was conceived much earlier. For us, this case is closed.”

“On the left, the authentic opposition party is the BSP and the parliamentary coalition. Georgi Kadiev is a closed case,” said Mikov.

According to the leader of the BSP, the party’s candidate for mayor of Sofia, Mihail Mirchev, has very good chances against the “grey image of Fandakova”. “He will go to the runoff, I think that Sofia needs a different policy and a new reading of people’s problems,” Mikov pointed out.

According to the BSP leader, politics has escaped from the local elections. “Voting is becoming a simple race of money, of voter manipulation. That’s the big problem we want to change,” he said.

The leader of the BSP also commented on the position of the ambassadors in the discussion of the Anti-corruption Law, pointing out that periodically groups of ambassadors tell us how things are in our country. – “I am amazed because they represent their countries and I don’t know if they have a mandate from their ministers to have this type of behavior that goes beyond their functions and interferes with the legislative process. The responsibility for decisions lies with those who vote, not with those who write letters,” concluded Mikhail Mikov.
