Former head coach of Dynamo Mircea Lucescu may soon become a coach of Besiktas.

According to the portal Milliyet.com.tr, after Besiktas president Hasan Arat failed to agree on cooperation with the Dutch specialist Giovanni van Bronkhorstvo, the boss of the Istanbul club turned to Mircea Lucescu.
It is known that the general director of Besiktas, Saimet Aybaba, has already had a telephone conversation with Lucescu, which ended very positively. Today, a functionary of the Turkish club will go to Romania for negotiations with the Romanian coach.
If the parties can quickly agree, it is expected that this coming Tuesday, January 9, Besiktas will play a Turkish championship match against Rizespor under the leadership of Lucescu.
Let us add that the other day Lucescu said that he did not want to accept a new team in the middle of the season.
