It’s “like saying a lot of things without saying a word” (Yuri Buenaventura). The local section, Visiting the sick in hospitals (VMEH) of the Saint-Jacques de Mirande hospital center, came to offer, through the volunteer dancers of Berdoues, a moment “full of things” to the residents. A gift that was close to the heart of its section manager, Anne-Marie Le Guen-Tharan and the entire team of volunteer visitors (Michel, Isabelle, Brigitte, Germaine, Marie-Sophie, Madeleine).
With their smiles, behind their masks, the dancers performed beautiful line dancing steps in front of the residents gathered in the reception hall, or those who stayed upstairs but watched just as attentively. Lively music, music of their memories, some residents clapped their hands to the rhythm of the sound, while others danced.
It is with human warmth and pleasure that the VMEH and the team of the hospital center have joined forces to allow this moment of conviviality, so precious, to bring a little sunshine in hearts and minds.
The recreational afternoon was accompanied by a snack, for the greatest satisfaction of all, in all precautions.
